高岡銅器でつくられた久乗おりん「優凛」シリーズの置き風鈴「かざりん」。風と飾りのおりんをかけたその商品の短冊部分のみデザインしました。柄の穴のあき具合、紙の選定、厚みの検証などに時間をかけ、宣伝写真の色味や小物にも気をつけて、伝統工芸技術に見合う「大人の優凜」を目指しました。
Tabletop wind chime “KAZARIN” from Kyujo orin’s Yurin series, made in Takaoka renowned for its copperware. I designed the strip of paper hanging from the bell, carefully assessing the size of holes, type and thickness of paper, etc., and I was mindful of color tones and accessories in the promotional photo, as my aim was to present a sophisticated image befitting this product created with traditional craftsmanship.
